My Goodness – We’ve been having so much fun this summer, that I haven’t had much time to reflect and reminisce!! There have been family reunions, picnics, hikes in the woods, boating on the lake, and about a million and one other things!!!
Of course, sticking with the theme of my blog, there was one – only one 😦 – quilting retreat. Bev, Barb and I managed to get a nice weekend of quilting back in July. I’ve been meaning to post pictures ever since then. Today is finally the day.
Barb worked on her “On Ringo Lake” blocks. I like her bright and sunny color choice. She also layered her basket wall hanging (based on an Edyta Sitar pattern) Bev brought her pink and brown checkerboard and considered layering it in prep for quilting. She started another checkerboard and rails quilt instead.
I worked on a number of projects, but I only have a picture of the binding on the Lozenges quilt. I also pieced blocks and border units for the Fox quilt. Oh, and I did a lot of cutting for the “Long and Winding Road” quilt (isn’t that a better name than Snakes!?!)
I have a bunch of things to do today, so I better get going.
