Quilting En Plien Air

I’ve been spending as much time as possible with my quilting. After all, I have a lot of goals to accomplish this month!! But sometimes the weather is so pleasant and I just want to be outside. That’s when I have to gather up my things and do some quilting in the great outdoors.

This is the pink and brown disappearing nine patch. I’m sewing the binding (brown polka dot fabric) and hope to have it done soon.

Of course, other times the weather is dreary and pouring rain, so I’ve been resisting the urge to clean (that’s not too hard to do!) and I’ve been sewing my blue and cheddar quilt. It’s coming along nicely and I’ll have some pictures soon.

And when I don’t feel like sewing, I make some knitted dishcloths instead! Most of these I made while at the Pickin in Parsons bluegrass festival at the beginning of this month.

Time for me to get back to quilting now.

Peace
