I really haven’t got anything major to report on the Spring Cleaning front. DH has been coming up with even more fix-it jobs, so there seems to be a constant mess going on right now. I am hoping after this weekend that he will be finished with all the work in the upper level. Then I can really dig in and start up there.
Meanwhile, I’ve been trying to keep up with all the regular cleaning, as well as cleaning up after DH does his thing.
I’ve also been getting a little sewing done in the evenings and early mornings. I’ve been working on the Sea Glass quilt:
These are the only two complete blocks that I have done. But I’ve been able to make almost all of the 1300 HSTs and also start assembling them into the smaller units that make up the blocks.
I also starting cutting the fabrics for the Hospice quilt that our group will be working on in a few weeks. It will be good to have that done so that we can send it on to the quilters.
Well, I have to work for Boss #2 today, so I better get moving.
