It’s almost like the countdown for Christmas!!! Only one more day and I’ll be leaving for our quilting weekend!!
I’ve been getting things ready – the sewing supplies are mostly packed:
I haven’t packed clothes yet – why worry about such unimportant things when we have quilting to do!!!
And I’ve been getting some of the units done ahead for the workshops:
The half square triangle units are mostly cut for the Saturday workshop and I cut the papers that I’ll need for the string pieced units. I’ve also got the border units ready for that quilt, too, because you know I’m going to be such a sewing maniac that I’m going to have the top all pieced and will need to get the borders added before the end of the day!!! 🙄
I haven’t done much more on the units for the Sunday workshop – all of the HSTs are cut and I have plenty of 1 1/2″ strips for making more nine patches. I’m also taking my Leader/Ender challenge units (the lozenges) so that I have L/E when I’m working on the other two quilts.
I guess I better get on the ball today and have things ready for poor DH, who will be left to take care of himself all weekend. Maybe I should fix something for him to have to eat while I’m gone. 😀
