It’s the last (week)day of the month, which means that it’s time to review the monthly goals and see how I did.
1) Finish assembling “A-mazing in Red” – Done! I got this one all assembled!
2) Start making some nine patch units and HST units to get a jump start on some projects I’d like to have done for Christmas – Done! I didn’t specify how many I wanted to make and I didn’t get as many done as I thought I would, but, technically, I have fulfilled this goal!
3) Work on hexies – Done! Again, not as much as I would have liked, but I got some more hexes done.
4) Quilt one of the flimsies that I have stashed away. I’m not even going to designate any particular one – just get one quilted!!! – Nope, I didn’t get any quilting done this month. I’d like to double (or even triple) up in June but we’ll see how that goes. I’m waiting on DH to get the Fun Quilter moved – keep your fingers crossed, it might happen this weekend!!
Last weekend I managed to get another flimsy assembled – Yeah, I know it wasn’t on my list, but what the heck, it’s something I needed to work on sometime. This is going to be a Christmas gift for a DGC. She requested purple flowers. I think this fits the bill.
As for my cleaning list – well, I’m not exactly sticking to any list at this point. I’ve been very busy this week (and will be for the nest few weeks, at least!) getting things moved over to Peace House. So, I’m still going through all my “stuff” since I don’t want to schlep boxes of stuff that I no longer want to keep – those boxes are going directly to the thrift store, or the trash. But it’s slow going – I wish I had a couple clones of me to help with the work!!!
Of course, I could wind up with a clone like Doug #4!!!
