The weather forecasters were pretty close on their predictions and today and tomorrow are supposed to be much warmer than earlier in the week. I’m very happy about that!! Those below zero temperatures were a little too extreme for me. I was very grateful for all the work DH did this fall – getting the wood burning furnace hooked up and bringing in a lot of firewood. We were able to stay comfortably warm for the duration.
I’ve been working away at my goals this week:
I’ve made 10 of the hexie flowers – only two more to meet that goal.
I’ve been trimming my blocks for Celtic Solstice. I don’t always worry with sliver trimming, but I thought I’d take the little bit of extra time to make them just that more accurate.
And I’ve looked at the Easy Street pieces! Doesn’t that count for something!?! 😉
I haven’t done anything with loading the quilt for DH on the Fun Quilter, but I think I have a little more time before the month is over.
And, yesterday, DH and I took care of a small repair in the living room. Yay!! It only took five years for him to get to that maintenance job!!
