My Friends

I don’t usually post about personal things very much. After all, this is supposed to be a blog about quilting. And I’m not really going to go into a lot of detail. Because the people that know me, know some of the drama I’ve been dealing with. And the people that don’t know me, well, sorry I don’t need to satisfy your curiosity!!

But there have been a lot of things going on, behind the scenes, that have been making me a little crazy.

Okay, I know, I’m already pretty crazy!!

But things have been making me even more crazy than usual!!!

And it’s making me forgetful.

Yeah, yeah, I know, I’m already pretty forgetful!!

But I’ve been even more forgetful than usual!!! I completely forgot some paperwork that needed to be taken care of. And, while it wasn’t the end of the world, it caused a flurry of aggravation that I really didn’t need.

I found this quote and thought that I need to remember it:

Life is too short

I definitely need to apply this to my life. I’m too far along in my life’s journey to be putting up with petty people who want to do nothing but bring other people down.

And now I want take a minute to express my heartfelt gratitude to my true friends. You know who you are.

You’re the ones who make me laugh so hard, I forget the bad!

You make me happy! You are the greatest!

Thanks for being in my life and being there for me.

  1. YOU do the same for us! Our one-day retreat was so much fun and helped get me ready for the week. Maybe we can’t solve all our problems, but holding each other up sure helps! Can we fit in another day before Shop Hop?? That seems so far away!

  2. I am sooooo glad to know that Cheryl has so many wonderful friends (quilting and others) that help her to get through some of her trying times and also to have fun with. Where would we all be without our friends?
