My work in progress is still:
the pink and purple quilt!!
I took it with me to our quilt group meeting and did a little stitching on the binding. Everyone there seemed to like it a lot. I must admit, I like it a lot, too!
It’s so much fun to go to a meeting. Not only does my ego get a boost when someone admires my work, but I also get inspired by what everyone else is working on. One of the ladies is making some BEAUTIFUL applique blocks that I just drooled over! I am itching to start an applique project. (there are quite a few that I’d like to do on my bucket list) But then, cold, hard reality sets in and I remind myself that I already have at least a dozen projects that I need to finish before I start anything new! Yes, I know, like that’s ever stopped me before! 😉
I’m going to try to control myself and stick to getting some projects finished right now. But I think that once the New Year starts and I’m past the holidays, I’m going to start work on one of my many applique ideas.
Meanwhile, let’s go to a virtual quilt group meeting and get inspired by other WIPs!! Click HERE to go to the Freshly Pieced linky party and see what everyone else is doing.
