Okay, I don’t have anything on my design wall, but this is what I am going to be working on:
In spare moments this week, I am going to be quilting these blocks. I will also plan on taking them with me when I join Bev and Barb this weekend for our Bonnie Hunter experience. The plan is to go to Bonnie’s lecture on Friday evening, spend Saturday sewing all day, then attend Bonnie’s workshop on Sunday. On Saturday, I hope to get all of these blocks quilted and ready to be assembled. It is within the realm of possibility that I could actually accomplish this!!! I’ll let you know next week about how I did!!!
Our family reunion was yesterday. I am one of the worst photographers, ever. I took my camera and did not use it at all. So I have absolutely no photos. 😦
It was great to see all the family that showed up and there was a LOT of good food. I made a chicken dish in the slow cooker that was devoured completely. I don’t even have a name for it, but here are the ingredients: one 3 lb. bag boneless, skinless chicken breasts, one can cream of chicken soup, garlic, real bacon bits, ranch salad dressing. I measured nothing, so you’ll have to figure that out for yourselves. I cut the breast pieces into smaller chunks and the ranch dressing was approx. the same amount as the can of soup. I should have made some rice or noodles to go with it, so you could pour the sauce over that. Oh, it cooked for 3.5 hours on high in the slow cooker.
Today I need to run a number of errands for DH. I just love being the gopher – ha-ha!! I guess I better get started so that, maybe, I’ll have some sewing time later today!
