I spent last night sewing the borders for Bedford Beauty and watching Quilt Cam on Bonnie Hunter’s Quiltville blog. You can click on her button on the left side of my blog to connect to her blog. For those who don’t know, Bonnie has a wonderful feature on her blog. Every once in a while she does a live broadcast from her sewing studio. She sews on her projects, chats about hints and tips, and reads off comments from her followers – answering their questions. It’s kind of like having a sewing friend keeping you company while you sew. recently she switched to Google +, which allows her to save all her broadcasts to Youtube. So if I miss the live version, I can always watch her at my convenience. Genius!
Here are the remaining pieces that still need to be sewn – photobomb by Norman! I’m hoping to have the borders all pieced by the end of this day. I’ll be going out with Mom this afternoon and then there is a church event this evening, but I’m thinking positively!
This was from last night while I was watching Quiltcam. Norman was trying to get close to Bonnie’s sewing machine (like he does with mine.) I was watching him closely while taking the picture, because I did not want him to walk on the keyboard. Cats can cause major damage if they step on certain keys!
Best friends or more specifically QFFs also “help” you by giving you a push into the crazy land of “Always Starting New Quilts and Seldom Finishing” I want to thank everyone that commented yesterday on the Nascar quilt idea. Since I was dreaming about it last night, I guess I’m going to have to “strike while the iron is hot” and go ahead with this idea. And the prize for first to push goes to Bev – I’ll remember you for that! 😉
