Before I report about “all” the fabric I’ve used this week, I wanted to comment on Little Big Town’s video “I’m a Tornado” You’ll need to watch the video to understand what I’m talking about.
I’ve heard the song and it has a good beat. I like it. But then I saw the video. What the heck?
Is that a quilt that is being set on fire?
I mean, really, it might not be a family heirloom, but what is the point of setting a quilt on fire!?!
I may have to send a stern letter to Little Big Town expressing my disappointment with their actions.
😉 You do know that I am speaking “tongue-in-cheek”, right!?!
Now for the stash report – Mom and I used almost one yard of fabric to make her bag.
I’ve been sewing Tea Leaves circles, but that doesn’t really use stash in this year. I already had the pieces cut before this year. And it’s very, very far from finished, so I can’t count it that way either.
I did cut the sashing strips for the Bedford Beaty, but I’m not going to count that as used until the quilt is finished. Hopefully before March is over I’ll be able to do that.
The tiny triangles aren’t using a lot of fabric and most of it was cut before this year anyway. So I’m not sure if I can count it as used for this year. I will be able to count the sashing and backing when I get it finished, but it’s not done yet.
Good news is, I haven’t bought any more fabric this week!
So here it is:
Fabric used this week: 1 yards
Fabric added this week: 0 yards
Fabric used YTD: 15 yards
Fabric added YTD: 54.25 yards
YTD total: 39.25 yards added
